VERSION 009 (Dec. 2007) 1. Added an internal delay of 240ms to turn off PTT and then to turn off the remote sites in order to finish the voice buffer in the DSP. 2. The parameter 11 Voice Radio is defined as Network Outgoing Gain in the Repeater. It controls the outgoing voice level from the repeater to the network. If Network Outgoing Gain > 128, the outgoing voice for the network = local Voice * (Network Outgoing Gain -128); If Network Outgoing Gain < 128, the outgoing voice for the network = local Voice /Network Outgoing Gain; 3. The parameter 12 Voice Telco is defined as Network Incoming Gain. It controls the incoming voice level from the network to the repeater. If Network Incoming Gain > 128, the incoming voice for the network = Incoming Voice* (Network Incoming Gain -128); If Network Incoming Gain < 128, the incoming voice for the network = Incoming voice /Network Incoming Gain; VERSION 008C (SEPTEMBER 5, 2007) 1. Connect Systems Inc. now has a version using G711 codec and a Version using G729 codec. The version using G729 Codec requires 15.2K bits per second over the IP network per call and the version using the G711 codec requires 78K bits per second over the IP network per call. The G711 sounds a little better than G729 and can pass both FleetSync (Kenwood Protocol) and MDC1200 (Motorola Protocol). 2. Incorporates the Diagnostic Display and Airtime Billing package. 3. Incorporated a programmable De-Emphasis filter. Under most circumstances, this filter greatly improves the voice quality of the system. 4. Incorporated a watch dog timer to reset the system in case the system hangs up. 5. When using the LTR Bus, has a diagnostic that indicates multiple bus masters or no bus master. VERSION 007A (March 26, 2007) 1. Fixed a bug that LTR ID over 127 cannot make a network call. Version 007 (Feb. 12 2007) 1. Reduced the time for programming the parameters from 5 minutes to 1 minute. 2. Changed the LTR decoder algorithm to make it more reliable. 3. Revised the DCS network call code section to disconnect the call at the remote site. Version 006 (Jan. 25 2007) 1. For a local repeater, the voice delay is reduced from 40ms to 125us. 2. DCS transmit level was changed from 33% of the LTR transmit level to 80% of the LTR transmit Level. Version 005 (Dec. 14, 2006) 1. Silicon Lab confirms that if the speed is greater than 50MHz in the microcontroller, the power reset will not work correctly unless we add external reset hardware. We do not have the external reset hardware on board so the speed was lowered from 88MHz to 44MHz. 2. Added station identification using CWID. 3. Use XF of DSP to inform the microcontroller when the DSP is receiving programming data from IP. 4. The display will show "IP programming" whenever being programmed. Version 004 1. The flash erase and flash write programs for updating the hex file have been caused a problem for the microcontroller. 2. Added LTR network trunking. Version 003 1. COS and SENSE are now displayed correctly. 2. The DTMF "#" key disconnection command for network calls will not retrigger another call. Version 002 CTCSS and DCS are working in the controller. Version 001 It is the first working version with LTR logic.
