OOPS... PRODUCT DEFECT FOR THE CS800

If you bought a CS800 before June 22, 2015 you probably have a manufacturing defect that requires an addition of a special diode. The document available just below explains how to put in the diode. If you are not sure if your radio has the diode, you can pop the cover off by following the instructions below. The diode used (P4KE12CA) does not have a polarity so it can be put in any way. Because it is our fault we take full responsibility for the problem. You have three choices at this time.
(1) If you are not using an external speaker do nothing. This is not the best choice because you might forget in a year and then you will burn out your radio past the warranty period.
(2) We will send you a diode at no cost and you can put it in yourself
(3) We will e-mail you a prepaid priority mail label. You will send the radio to us, we will do the work, and we will then send the radio back to you.

If you need to a diode or a shipping label, please call after 10:00 A.M. Pacific Standard Time and ask for Erin.
